Flora Dalmatica Wins Gold and Silver in London
Micro-distillery Flora Dalmatica has won gold and silver medals at the prestigious London Spirits Competition 2026, one of the most relevant global competitions in the beverage industry.
This competition brings together leading experts from around the world and evaluates products not only on quality, but also on their real market potential — making this award especially significant for small, independent producers.
Their products LŌR London Dry Gin and BADAM, a bitter almond liqueur based on gin, were awarded — both recognized for their distinctive character, authenticity, and outstanding quality.
“Our idea from the very beginning was simple — to create drinks that carry the identity of the place they come from. Each batch is small, but behind it stands a big story,” say the distillery team.
LŌR, the first London dry gin from Šibenik, is distilled with 13 botanicals characteristic of the region, while BADAM reinterprets the traditional flavor of bitter almond through a contemporary approach.
This success confirms that even a small distillery, driven by a clear vision and an authentic approach, can compete on a global level — without compromising quality or identity.
Flora Dalmatica operates in just 28 square meters at the Old Market (Stari Pazar) in Šibenik, where limited single-batch series are crafted.
